The Region of Midi Pyrenees offers both the resident and the holiday maker an endless array of activities for every generation, from gentle
pursuits such as fishing in the many rivers and lakes in the area, to rambling through the wonderful gorges and valleys discovering the hidden beauty of the medieval
bastide towns that populate this region, to skiing some of the best slopes in France.
For more active visitors there are opportunities to experience cycling, climbing, skiing, caving pot-holing and racing through foaming white water in canoes or rafts. For children the open countryside and the smaller rivers and lakes provide a natural playground of excitement and adventure.
